Blessed Sacrament Basketball respects the privacy of the players, parents and guardians who take part in our programs. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and program registration, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

Contact form. When you send us a message through this website, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, the player's name and birth year, the program you're interested in, and your message.

Registration and payment. Program registration and online payment are handled by our registration platform, LeagueApps. Information you provide when registering (such as player and guardian details) is collected through LeagueApps and is also subject to LeagueApps' privacy policy. Card payments are processed by LeagueApps; we do not receive or store full card numbers. If you pay by e-transfer, we receive the details that come with the transfer.

Website visits. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running securely.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and requests
• To register players, place them in appropriate groups and teams, and run our programs
• To communicate schedules, changes and program information to families
• To process payments, refunds and account credits

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run our programs: with our coaches and program staff, with the leagues and governing bodies our teams are registered with, and with the service providers that operate this website and our registration (our website host, LeagueApps, and the email service that delivers contact form messages to our inbox). Some of these providers may store information outside Canada. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Children's information

Our programs are for young people, so we ask that a parent or guardian provides a player's information, whether through registration or the contact form. We collect only what we need to run our programs safely.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete it.

Your choices
